WHERE IT ALL STARTED

MY JOURNEY

Hi, I’m Haley, a passionate pediatric occupational therapist dedicated to helping children unlock their full potential! With 14 years of experience in the occupational therapy field, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals of all ages and abilities, empowering them to thrive in their everyday lives.

My journey began as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA), where I spent 10 years working primarily with adults. During this time, I honed my skills in supporting clients’ independence and quality of life, gaining invaluable experience in the OT field. However, in 2020, I felt drawn to the world of pediatrics and made the transition to working with children. It was here that I truly discovered my passion for helping kids grow, learn, and connect with the world around them.

Inspired by my newfound love for pediatric OT, I decided to take a leap and go back to school to further my education. In December 2023, I proudly graduated with my Master of Science in Occupational Therapy, a milestone that marks my deep commitment to this incredible profession.

IN MY WORKING WORLD:

In my practice, I am proud to serve as the Director of Occupational Therapy for a community-based practice where I have the opportunity to work with children in both school and home settings. This role allows me to meet kids where they’re most comfortable, creating individualized strategies that fit their unique environments and needs. I specialize in sensory integration, developing gross motor skills, and fostering self-regulation, areas that I believe lay the foundation for confidence and independence in children.

I’m also an ADHD Certified Specialist, equipping me with the tools to help kids who navigate the unique challenges of attention and focus. Currently, I’m pursuing my Autism Specialist Certification to deepen my understanding and expertise in supporting children with autism and related needs. My goal is always to create a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where children feel empowered to explore, play, and develop critical skills—whether that’s tying their shoes, building friendships, or navigating the daily routines of life.

Beyond direct therapy, I’m deeply committed to supporting the entire family. I love working closely with parents and caregivers, sharing practical strategies to carry over therapy goals into everyday life. I firmly believe that collaboration is key; by building strong partnerships with families, we can work together to guide, encourage, and celebrate every milestone along the way. I’m here to be your biggest cheerleader, offering tools, insights, and unwavering support as we navigate this journey together.

IN MY peRsoNaL worlD:

But life is more than work—it’s about connection, laughter, and tacos! I’m the proud mom of a beautiful blended family with five wonderfully unique and energetic kids. Our house is full of adventure, creativity, and a little chaos, which inspires my therapy practice in countless ways. As a mom to children with ASD, ADHD, and SPD, and someone who personally manages ADHD, I bring both professional expertise and personal understanding to my work.

When I’m not in the therapy room, you’ll find me:

Hanging out with my amazing family (always the best kind of therapy!)
Designing new products and brainstorming creative ideas
Chowing down on tacos—they’re a staple in our home!
Trying to stay active with regular workouts
Surrounding myself with all things rose gold (seriously, I’m known for my pink supplies!) and sunflowers, which always brighten my day

These little joys recharge me and fuel the passion I bring to helping children and families.
